Dear all it is with great sadness that I post this obituary of my platoon commander, who I served under in the 70's while he was with E. Coy 1 York's.  He was a active member of the sealed knot society at this time and may a cold ride in the back of 4 tonners was spent listening to his tales which made the time pass so quickly, he was a go getter, one of a kind, I am sorry he has gone so early and will be remembered and missed by his old platoon members. It is with great sadness that I have to report the passing of Warrant Officer Class 2 Ted Clegg, Retired Band Sergeant Major, Yorkshire Volunteers Band. 

It is my solemn duty to report the passing of Sgt. Iain (Jock) McGregor, Lead Drummer with Yorkshire Volunteers Corps of Drums.
